You can eat our berries with confidence as we have implemented a comprehensive Food Safety and Quality management system that also encompasses Hazard Awareness and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and GMP Policies. We have achieved British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification which is a Global Food Safety Standard equivalent to a Level 3 SQF the highest food safety standard in the industry.
Reliable Flavor and Quality
Our berries are grown in the Pacific Northwest which is the premier berry growing region. While the USDA has established guidelines for measuring the quality of a berry by defects, color, and character, there is no systematic or objective measure for Flavor. Like strawberries on steroids, California can produce fresh strawberries all but three weeks out of the year. In the northwest we get only the month of June just as nature intended. The result? A sweeter, juicier, more flavorful strawberry. While the contrast is perhaps the greatest with the strawberry the Northwest’s mild climate produces a reliable succulent, flavorful berry.
